Hi rav

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoLISP (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91) forum to this one...

Why? - Unless you are running some Third Party utility that enables LISP to be run in AutoCAD LT, LISP as a solution will not work you for.

Thanks, Mike

okay mike, can you tell me where you have moved the thread to? is the commands within the menu files classed as lisp routines? i seems to be able to write each required command individually but when i try to combine them together it seems to fail. im really stuck on this 1

Hi

I moved this thread from the AutoLISP (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91) forum, to this one ( ie AutoCAD Customization (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) forum ), seeing as LISP is not a viable solution to yourself ( unless you are running a Third Party utility that enables LISP in AutoCAD LT ).

Take a look at "ID: TS64255" in this post and this one; with very minor adjustments made to the "Solution" outlined in that Technical Document you should be able to build a solution that works in AutoCAD LT.

Have a good one, Mike

Not that I am aware of, seeing as you are using AutoCAD LT ( but what do I really know ).
