when using phasing. how do I delete a window, and use the opening to form just an opening with no window - the window infills the hole when I demolish it, I dont want it to and cant seem to prevent this. I want to use the opening to form part of a corridor - so I put a little bit of separate wall (the same as the surrounding wall, then joined geometry) below the window and thought I could demolish it and the window to form a "doorway" can I do this any way?
I apologise if this has been covered before, which I am sure it has, but I couldnt seem to find anything...

In reality, you are going to demo the window and part of the wall below the window to form the corridor opening, right? So I would do the same in Revit. I would split the wall on each side of the window to be demolished to the dimension I wanted for the opening, then demo the wall portion with the window. You may need to split the wall portion horizontally at the header of the window to keep the existing top portion of the wall above the window from being demo'd.
Make sense?

I think I see what you are saying, insted of demo the window - demo an area of wall just beyond the window - the revit wont infill the hole right? Cant believe I didnt think of that  thanks scott, seems so obvious now!
