We have the structural in a separate project, linked into the architectural project. Is there a way to globally set it so that we do not see the levels and grids of the structural model in the architectural? It will take 9 mouse clicks in each of our hundreds of views to do this manually in Visibility/Graphics ...

Would be nice, you're best option is to shut them off in your view templates and apply the templates to your views

File>Manage Links>Reload From....select the same file. In the lower right corner under the Open Worksets dialogue select Specify - then Open.

Now close the Shared Levels and Grids Worksets.

That should turn the levels and grids off throughout the project.

All the best -

Never thought of that because the structural file didn't have worksets enabled, Thanks Phil.
On that note I see no reason that worksets shouldn't be enabled on every project from the very begining...are we going to be able to enable them in the template soon Phil? ;)

Thank you very much, as usual, Phil. Another case where we should have already been able to think of that ourselves, it's not a special trick. We should have been thinking to look at that option in the first "Add link" dialogue, since we already use it on the initial loads of our local file to cut down on horsepower needed.
