Structural column in plan?

Hi there

I am currently having a problem with structural columns in plan; they are set to have a concrete hatch when in section yet they are not showing the hatch pattern or any line weights! I have set the view to fine, yet still am not having any joy

Any suggestions on how I could possibly sort this out would be greatly appreciated.

It might be worth checking the Discipline setting in View Properties...? haven't had a chance to check this property or experiment with it though so I might by way off the mark!
