Double arrowhead on dimension line

I would like to know if it is possible to place a double arrowhead on the end of a dimension line without having an extension line going to an object on the double arrowhead end? I am trying to reference dimension something. Clear as mud?

I can only comment on the extension lines. Go to format styles editor. Select your dimension style then select the tab Options. There are two check boxes to hide the extension lines. In the display tab you can select a terminator, unfortunately there isn't one with a double arrow. You should be able to make one and save it in a file that can be pulled into the styles editor. Maybe Jonathon can help with that.
