AUS doors & windows in Revit 6.0 & 6.1

Hi, I've found that I'm no longer able to change the width and height parameters on the AUS series of doors and windows that ship with Revit. I have older models that were created in 5.0 and 5.1 and they are fine - what seemingly would appear to be the same door or window I can change the width and height in earlier releases but not the current version. It lets me type in the new dimension in the width/height fields but the object will not change. Does anyone know why this is so and can I get around it?

Just loaded the AUS Swing Door and the AUS Sliding Window, straight out of the 6.1 pack and yes, there is definitely a problem with these families !! They don't change in either the Family preview or in the project.

Will investigate further ....

OK, I opened the AUS Swing Door Family and it has serious problems.

There does not appear to be any controlling dimensions to flex the reference planes for height and width.

When I attempted to add them, I get the following error message.

I suggest we both contact (local ) support about this.

Thanks for looking into this mate. I'll get onto support ASAP. Hopefully there can be a fix as there wasn't a problem in earlier versions (I may attempt to bring in something from a 5.1 library in a sec).

Well the object from 5.1 does indeed change dimensions in 6.1. Very puzzling that something like this would change between releases...

Yes, I opened a 5.1 AUS door family and it has all the necessary bells and whistles.

I'm wondering if the download got corrupted for these families. ? ( Doubtful though ) I though of checking the CD, buts thats 6.0 , not 6.1 content anyway.

I'm unable to duplicate your error from 6.1 in AUS doors but I have noticed the AUS sliding windows dont work.

I generally use the AU Doors & Windows from KarelCAD, so I haven't noticed this stange behaviour before

Did you download fresh content when you installed 6.1 ?

i had the same problem with the AUS doors and windows from 6.1 CD
they don't acept changes
need to get the one's from 5.1

I tested the awning, double hung and arch windows and they show OK in elevation for me.

maybe the 'puter was having a bad hair day, hehehe
