Has anyone had a rendering with RPC people grey out around the RPC? Looks like a ghost image.

Increase the number of transparency bounces, see if that fixes it. This is located in the rendering settings.

Thanks Scott, that did it (went from 3 bounces to 6).

Allen,

I like that pickup truck - very convincing. Is that RPC content?

No, it's a model that beegee made. You can download it here (http://www.zoogdesign.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2701). I just added some color to it.

okay,

I am experiencing the same problem - the grey rectangular ghost?

I have tried increasing the transparency bounce from 3 to 7. No dice.

I don't seem to be having the problem on all of my projects. This project is a courthouse that dates back to Revit 4.?

Any other suggestions or ideas? Anybody else experiencing this problem.

I've seen reflection bounces also effect RPC's ( placed in front of a shopfront for instance )

Some things to look at :-

1. Quality - set to best.

2. Sky - what are you using ?

3. Sun and cloudiness and soft shadows. Try different settings in a partial render to see the effect.

Actually it is a bug in the Accurender Toolkit which is already fixed.
This happen when there is a change in the environment settings and ray traced image exist for this scene.

One possible way to fix this is to close the view and then open it again.

yes, zograf is right, it has happened to me in Revit 6.1, when it happens I close the 3dview, then I open it again, render it and the RPC's are perfect again.
