Turn off Section Fill for Existing Phase?

If I cut a section thru a wall, floor, roof etc. that was created in phase “Existing”, the section displays with a black fill.

How do I turn this off? I want “Existing” elements to print slightly lighter than new construction and without the black fill. How do I change the fill setting for this project and all future projects?

Change the material "Phase - Exist" to have a cut pattern of "none" and change the color to a gray tone.
