Curtain wall door

I can't seem to select the curtain wall panel that I have created to add the curtain wall doors. When I try to load the doors in, it won't let me select the wall panels. Help?

Tzu,

Hover your mouse over the panel in question, hit the tab key repeatedly until you see the panel highlight (also watch the lower left corner of your screen - there is a status bar there that tells you what object is currently pre-highlighted). When the panel is highlighted, left click and then use the drop down (upper left side of the screen) to change the panel type to your door.

it can be tricky.
If you do not succeed try visibility turn off curtain wall mullions or whatever is in your way. :)

The panel you wish to make into a curtain wall door must be the same size as the CWdoor you are trying to place. After placing the curtain wall use the curtain grid tool to add grid lines which define panel size. you should now be able to add the doors. Also should you want mullions they follow the curtain grid.

do a crossings thru' the curtain wall then filter only the panel and change it to the loaded curtain wall door in your type selector
