Can someone explain what this new function does?
I have an Id what it should do but I don't see a difference with the previous method.
Am I correct that wall wrap doesn't work in an section view?
All wrapped up... :screwy:

From the much thumbed 6.1 Release Notes :-
Enhanced Wall Layer Wrapping
The compound structure dialog has been enhanced to allow user to specify whether individual shell layers do or do not participate in wrapping.
Windows and doors have a "Wall Closure" parameter which controls whether the layers automatically wrap at their opening or refer to the settings in the host. If a particular layer is set not to wrap, it will not wrap at inserts or the ends of the wall regardless of other settings. By default all shell layers wrap.
Layers wrap to the closure plane defined in the widow or door family. Layers will not wrap beyond the midline of the wall at partial openings. If voids were used to create the opening in the family, compound layers will wrap around all cut edges of the insert.
and from - Help :-
You can set layer wrapping through the type properties of the wall or by editing its structure.
To set through type properties
Select a compound wall and click .
Click Edit/New.
If you want wrapping at inserts, change the value of the Wrapping at Inserts parameter to Exterior, Interior, or Both.
If you want end cap layer wrapping, choose Exterior or Interior for the Wrapping at Ends parameter.
To set individual layers to wrap, select the Wraps check box at the end of each layer.
Note: Windows and doors have a type property called Wall Closure. This property overrides the wrapping settings in the Edit Assembly dialog box.
To set through the structure
Click Edit in the value box of the Structure property.
Follow steps 3 and 4 from the previous procedure.
If you want end cap layer wrapping, choose Exterior or Interior from the At Ends drop-down menu.
If you want wrapping at inserts, choose Exterior, Interior, or Both from the At Inserts drop-down menu.
Click OK.

Thanks for reply Beegee,
I've read those notes and helps. But the  didden't lit up.
Experimented a bit and it seem's clear to me now.
I just diddent see a direct use for my projects and was confused as to how implement / use it.
I can't make the wall wrap work in a section view. Still missing something?
