View Full Version : Level visibility in sections?

All of my levels are displaying correctly in elevation, but when I cut a section I can only see one level even though I stretch the window to infinity...they just don't seem to be anywhere. They have not been selected as "hide in view" as it is a brand new section. Does anyone know how I can get my levels indicators to display? This has happened on the past few projects but I would like to know how to fix them.
TIA.

It may have to do with any of the following...
Worksets
Phasing
Design Options
Scope boxes

If the section cut and its extents do not intersect the level lines, the level lines will not be visible. See attached.

Hmm, well I don't recall this ever happening in v.5, 6 or 7 (maybe in 7 it started happening, I'm not sure) but it never happened before. *boggle*

This is the result of the addition of 2D/3D extents to level and grid lines to Revit. It gives you much greater control,of visibility without using scope boxes.

in any view you can see the level, right click on it and chose maximize 3d extents. Then you can see it in any view.
