I notice that in the dimension text and spot elevation text I am allowed to specify a prefix and/or suffix to the text. Is there a way I can add this to label text. Example would be the framing tags with camber and studs. The current tag for this consist of 3 labels spaced apart. Each grabbing a different parameter. Most of the time these labels are placed to far apart. I like to keep things nice and neat/tight in my framing plans. I do not want to have to create different tags with different spacing to accomplish this. Having the ability to place these different parameters within the same text tag keeping the spacing between these callouts to a minimum would be great. Am I missing something or is there a work around?

(beam size -space- camber -space- camber)

thanks,
jamie

Hey all,
I am wondering if you can put a parameter in the Suffix (or Prefix for that matter) that would automatically calculate metric (from the dimension that is already imperial).
For example, if you have a 6" imperial dimension, next to it there would be the a Suffix saying (15.2 cm).
Can't blame a guy for tryin'

Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Cheers,
Stephen

Curiously, I posted about an hour ago and this message never seems to have entered into the New Posts part of AUGI. I went to check to see if anyone responded and clicked New Posts and the message was not there. There were 18 new messages. Does anyone know why?
Are the Revit Gods angry with me for wanting a parameter in the suffix or prefix of a dimension to automatically calculate the metric translation of the feet and inches?
