Gable roof to Gable roof issue and walls

I have in issue on the Gable to Gable - I have done a search but cant find my situation. The second problem is killing me because its easy - but I cant remember - and that is to make the wall go to the roof on a gable end. Please see attachments - thanks for all the help. Matt

Here's a mocked up example. It is all one roof sketch.

to make the walls go to the roof click on the wall and in the upper bar (tools) there is an attach command. click it and then hit the roof you want to attach to.

as for the gable to gable issue use the join roofs command in the upper bar (tools)
