Detail level

I know this is probably easy but what is the difference between the medium and fine detail level?

Out of the box, nothing that I know of. You can make custom families that have 3 different levels of detail for coarse, medium, and fine if you like. Anyone else know any other differences?

You would use it in family creation to have another level of detail. I always hoped it would transfer to walls someday so you could show just stud and finish or something like "old drafting" would have shown.

I agree it would be great to have another level of detail for walls once you get to to a smaller scale detail. Thanks for the help.
