Mixing Design Options and Worksharing, Advice?

any suggestions for using DESIGN OPTIONS while in WORKSETS?

I personally wouldn't want to try to do that.

It is my opinion that Design Options should be reserved for early design stages, and then after the design is pinned down and accepted, then move into Worksets so that multiple users can work in the file and produce the construction documents.

I'm sure others here would agree...

*edit* although we do have one project that is using both design options and worksets. However, I don't believe that any objects cross over between options and worksets. For instance, we have various design options for the exterior of the building, and several options for the interior. We also have separate worksets for the exterior shell and interior.

But even with containing the objects in that manner, it's still a pain in the rear trying to keep track of manage all the different objects, trying to keep different objects in different worksets and options from interfering with other stuff, etc.
