I would like to show the project number of the job as a field. Since the folders are set up in the same way for each job, is there a way to write a simple custom field? the folder tree is as follows:
the sheet with this field will always be in the Drawing folder, which in turn will always be in the Project Number folder.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jamie

If you are using the Sheet Set Manager, this is easy to do. You can easily make custom fields that work across the entire project or just for individual sheets.

You could use a DIESEL expression to trim away the undesired parts of the system variable DwgPrefix.
