I just signed up for the convention, and saw this presentation topic for Friday afternoon. Anyone know anything - is this about outsourcing jobs to India? Has the AIA been taking a stance on this topic? When I called the AIA to enquire, they said this presentation had by far the greatest number of people already signed up - almost 4 to 1 over the other topics.

The convention is on June 10-12...

I think on the site that if you join the AIA, you get to attend the convention for free.

Of course for me, that would require 2 more years of school, and internship, and the AIA exam to be compressed into the next 6 weeks or so....

nah...you can be an Associate member and all you have to do is "breathe" and pays yer money!
