Model line to Drafting line

One of the user here has added 'Model lines' by mistake in the basement floor plan to represent parking lots which seems to appear obviously in all the views. Is there any way we can select them all and change them to 'drafting lines' which I understand, may not appear in all views except in the view where it is added?.

Deleting and doing them again is an arduous task.

Isolate them , trace them as detail lines, then select and delete all the model lines.

Arduous, but the only way.

This is what I suggested to the user but he is unhappy :_(

export them to dwg, (isolate them with view settings). Import the DWG file back into "current view only" explode it, thats it, but not sure how the lineypes etc will behave, might require a bit of tweaking.

Yes. The round trip to dwg and back is useful for lots of tasks...
