View Full Version : Curtain wall with 45deg slope up to vertical curtain wall

Hello,

This maybe a bit complicated to understand with words so I have attached an example Revit file with the issue which should make my problem more clear.

I’m creating a curtain wall with a 45 degree vertical slope that widens up on the sides of the 45 degree to a “normal” vertical curtain wall. There should be 3 equally spaced intermediate mullions running vertically.

Some of the issues are that the “L” mullion joins “join” curtain walls in plan but not vertically like this. Also, because of the angle on one side of the 45deg panel, if I try to put a “curtain grid” on the 45deg portion, the grid angles away from the 90deg plane, so I cannot visually run the vertical mullion down through the 45deg portion.

As a note, I created the 45deg portion using “curtain system by lines” command…which I did not know about until I attended the Advanced Revit Building Techniques session at Autodesk University. So it got me a little further :)

Any help or ideas for a work around would be much appreciated!
