View Full Version : Interior Elevation Symbol: Too smart for my own good

In the early days of my revet experience, I edited the Interior elevation symbol text label (the text on the outside of the circle) and moved it in, closer to the circle. When I use fill it covers one of the labels up.

How did I do this? and how can I change it back?

signed,

just too darn ambitious

I thought so!

I had the same issue and when I sent it in, someone told me Revit never was able to do that. Glad I'm not crazy (for that reason anyway). I think they changed that in about 7.0 so you can no longer move the text. That's caused it lots of grief when we have REV & SIM text added, it always seems to end up on top of something.
We finally had to make different symbols for upper left vs lower right.

Here's my thread, but you can see for yourself the thundering response.

I just got a tech support response, they said it could not be done. I know I did it though. Check out this Jpg. I also never had version 7 or earlier. my first version of revit was 8.
now I am on 8.1

Any Ideas on how to solve this picture?

thanks
