The DWF-Apple iPod Nano Contest is still going on Autodesk.com for another 15 days.

We're soliciting customer DWF files to showcase on the Autodesk web site. To kick start the program we're giving away a Nano a week, through January 27th.
Our first winner was Mark Johnson of North Carolina for his building design of the Extreme Ice Center.

Our sixth winner was Jason Biagio of California for his 2D and 3D designs of the Holy Cross Church for St. Anne's Parish.

Our seventh winner was Scott Davis of California for his 2D and 3D designs of the Holy Cross Church for St. Anne's Parish.

According to Scott Davis: "This is a 45,000 square feet Police Administration facility for Montclair, California. The model to the point you see in this DWF was completed by one individual. DWF allows us to quickly communicate the design among our own firm as well as with the client. This project, being a public police facility, has been closely monitored by the general public. Having a 3D DWF model that we can now pull apart and section gives us the advantage of quickly conveying the design, inside and out, to those outside the architectural world who really need to see things in 3D, not flat 2D architectural drawings, to understand them."
We continue to receive contest submissions from all over the world. Due to circumstances around this particular contest, we can only award an iPod Nano to an entrant from the United States or Canada excluding Florida, New York, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and the Province of Quebec. The rules and regulations spell this out. Apparently there are export or local regulations that would make a contest like this very complicated if we tried to hold it globally. Regardless, we are excited to see DWF being used all over the globe. Keep those submissions coming regardless of where you are from. Our plan is to include interesting submissions in our customer gallery even if the submissions do not win iPod Nanos.
