Hatching Problem

I have just stating using ADT AutoCAD 2006 after upgrading from AutoCAD 2002.

I am having problem when hatching areas that have text in. When i have hatched the area on the drawing and if the is text within that area it hatches over Multi line text but Single line text it doesn't.

Can anybody help me out here i have tried all i can think of and our Cad Manager here does not know why it is doing this.

On your advanced tab of the hatch box, try changing the island detection style. Usually this is a one time deal & I always forget about it between upgrades. Once it's set on your system you tend to forget about it since it's not something you generally mess with.
