When trying to open a file I am getting the message
"an attempt was made to open the file 0272_office_layout.Rvt past its end"
What on earth does that mean? and what on earth do I do to fix it????

'Past its end' is I think a database error and essentially relates to the way the data is organised in the file. Suggest you send it in to support.

err silly question, but how do I send it to support? Do I have to send it through the re-seller? (its a 25mb file too....)
A search on google for the message suggests its something to do with winsock, so possibly not a Revit issue at all? I dont know really. Have called our IT guy about it now.
As it turns out it is a file that was saved as for an option, so there is probably only and hours work in it lost, but thats just pot luck - hope we can get to the bottom it anyway......
