Can't change Detail Number

I've inserted a detail onto a sheet and its number is 12; however, I want the detail to be number 1. Since I don't have any other details on this sheet, I can't understand why Revit won't let me change the number.

This is the message I get: "Detail Number is already in use. Enter a unique number."

Can anyone tell me how to change the detail number?

Sounds like some bizarre behavior.

Heres a thought...

1. Delete the sheet (since Revit thinks there are 11 drawings on it)
2. Recreate the sheet
3. Re-place your detail
4. Keep your fingers crossed

Thanks for your help. I don't know why that happened, but after doing what you said it seems to be working fine.
