Can you put walls in a family? I'm trying to turn different types of hotel rooms into a family. Do I need to use groups for this instead?
thanks,

NO. Because this is a system family you can't do what you ask. Groups may work.
HOWEVER, there was a great example that I think Scott Brown (sbrown) did that showed how you could use the Storefront command. He showed you could build a 'panel' family with the whole room inside, lay out the rooms as needed, then define the 'room-panel' family for the panel. Then once placed, you can then swap-out the panels to show different room configs.
I know this isn't a tutorial, but hope it helps.

Scott, Kyle would that example panel family be in a previous post or was it an AU tutorial or something. I would like to take a look at it. Thanks.
