Topography is all grey: Any ideas?

Hi

I have a piece of topography that is in Site - Earth material, and it just shows up in grey colour in a shaded view. I've made some subregions that are in Site - Grass material, and they show up grey as well.

When I copy the topography and paste it into another file, the colours show up. When I place other bits of topography, their colours show up. I just can't see how I've made this bit of topography go grey. What am I missing?

sounds like you might have the topography's phase set to existing.

It's most definitely because the topo is set to existing.
