bringing back a deleted splitted surface

From one surface I splitted in two, deleted one, created a floor, now I need to show the existing topo on the site plan and also once you delete a splitted surface a gap is shown in the section views crossing that "hole".

Does anybody know how to bring it back?

If it is really a "hole" in the topo, delete the points that describe the "hole".
