I've got a barrel vault roof and I want to model the standing seams. On this project I've used the sloped glazing solution with great results on all the shed roofs. When I copy the roof by extrusion structural barrel vault roof (joists & sheathing) and convert it to sloped glazing, the seams (mullions) do not follow the curve.

Any suggestions as to the best method to model those vertical seams?

best bet would probably be to just do an in-place sweep, array a bunch of rectangles or whatever profile for the seams, and then have the barrel curve be the sweep path.

do you need the physical standing seam or just a pattern to indicate the seams? If just a line use a model pattern. Here's pattern I use:

*mroof,standing seam metal roof
;%TYPE=MODEL
90, 0, 0, 0, 12
90, 1.5, 0, 0, 12

I would make a generic model family using a sweep with the profile of a metal panel. Make the path in elevation, put a radius parameter on it. then put it on a subcategory. Now you can place it, array it and turn it off if you need to. You can create your roof to still have a model pattern for when you don't want the ribs turned on.
