Recessed Window Head

Hello all, I've done some searching but can't seem to come across the post that answers my question. I've created a curtain wall window within a wall and I would like to recess the brick soldier header & sill 2" from the face of the ext. wall. The reveal command will work w/ the sill but not with the header, and then I can't get the brick pattern to change from running bond to soldier.

I've tried creating a new window...no dice. The best I have been able to do is manipulate the header reveal to get close to what I want and then placing a fill region over it w/ the hatch pattern I want.

Has this problem been hashed out before? If so can you point me to the right thread, or any suggestions would be great.

Why did the new window not work, the way I would do it is a new window family, with a void for the opening and a void for the recess, then a solid to infill the void(header) with whatever material you want on it. Or if you've allready made the opening with the curtain wall, just create a generic wall based family that includes a void to cut the wall out and a solid to infill it(less thick, so its still a recess)
