Hip roof with a courtyard

This should be able to be done with one roof. Especially a simple square.

I ran into this too. Just make 2 mansards that meet at the ridge. I couldn't believe it wouldn't work with one roof, but as you found it doesn't.

That is ridiculuos. That is a very simple roof. Should be able to do it with no problems. Please send it support so it can get fixed.
