Glad you posted that. I received that description on a flyer included in the package, but there was no DVD. It was a CD with 26, not 70 presentations.

I wonder if the description is wrong, or the CD master was made wrong?

Anyone else already receive one of these?

I got the DVD a while back and I've never counted them, but I'd guess there's 70 on there. I try to watch every webcast live every week, as they go through the demonstration, you can key in questions. Also, at the end of most sessions, there is a live Q&A time where you can ask a question over the phone.

I've requested the dvd, and so did another guy I work with. Still nothing.

You might try your reseller. That is where I got my copy.

Hi all,

After what I've heard they are temporarily "Sold out". (For the moment)
Check with your local reseller if they still have copies left.

Best regards / Ove C

The webcasts are still available for download from the autodesk website. Otherwise maybe we could get AUGI to post them all together as one download (it's just .wmv files on the DVD).

Maybe our wonderful forum moderator could check into that!

I received one of these dvd's a while back. It wouldn't play on my home dvd player though. I had to watch on my computer. So far I only watched two of the "lessons". The first one I watched was the intro (first one on the list) and it was alright. I actually learned a tad bit from it. The other one I watched was absolutely horrible though. It was so bad in fact, that I cannot even remember which one it was without putting the disc in to check. It sounded like a new employee at McDonalds who didn't have a clue what he was doing. :|

Again, the DVDs simply have wmv files, so they will only work with a computer. I imagine they would have put it on a CD, but there's over a GB of data on it.

I think the web-casts are pretty useful. One thing to keep in mind is that they have been doing these ever since the product was released. I imagine the first ones are more elementary, because of the knowledge level of the audience. Since then, they have had more specific and detailed information in the web-casts.

Also, I think they are best when viewed live. They always have a few guys working in the background answering questions. Obviously, sometimes the topics cover issues that have no interest to me, so usually I won't pay as close attention to those.

The green side goes UP.....

Sorry, couldn't resist.... just kidding.

I actually had a guy on the phone a few years ago, trying to install a program off a CD. He said nothing happened when he put the CD in. I figured the "autorun" had been turned off on his PC, or something similar.... About 30 minutes later, through a process of elimination, I figured out he had been putting the CD in the drive upside down. (This was a commercial CD with a labeled top - not a blank where both sides are silver)

I guess I should have had him flip the entire PC case upside down and try again.

I have done that before, just not a work.

This is almost as bad as the which side is up on the disk comment.
Seems I don't have A DVD player. It helps if you have a DVD player if you want to play a DVD.
Ask and ye shall receive, I've got the installation in the works.
I guess that means my whole system needs a tune up too.
