View Full Version : License Problem, Could someone help in this forum?

This help question has been sitting for days on Autodesk's and AUGI's ADT2005 forums. Perhaps someone here has the answer.

I have standalone licenses of ADT2005 and Revit 8.1 installed on my computer. Suddenly ADT is asking for Server License. Any ideas how to solve this?

I think this is more of a support problem, I always find support@autodesk.com very responsive.

Haven't tried support since ADT is not on subscription.

Specify the license file and go to documents and settings>all users>application data>autodesk>software licenses... and pick the correct file that goes with your ADT product.

Tried that. There are 7 data files, non of them is the right one.

Have you tried the server IP instead of the name? Sometimes the Network naming gets jacked and the server IP works regardless.

Software is on a standalone station.

we had the same problem when we upgraded from Revit 8.0 to 8.1 the problem was on our IT side they needed to upgrade the flex server with the latest release. even though they had the same license number the server needed to see an 8.1 and not an 8.0. hope this helps

What confuses me is that I never had to use any "flex server" before. ADT and 8.1 have been co-existing on this station for quite a while and both programs have been working fine after 8.1 update in mid December.
