A quick question for all of you adapting to the CUI world. I do not see a good method for adding comments to menu components regarding date, description, etc. like I was able to do in my .mnu files.

What methods for detialling this information internally to the cui file has anyone found or are using?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Tony,

I have not found a way to do it. But I haven't done too much in the CUI just yet. Maybe one of the other more experienced CUI editors can comment on this one for you.

The is no display area in the CUI editor, even if you added comments directly in the XML file. So I wouldn't even bother.

Depends. If you're maintaining the CUI yourself (with Notepad or an XML editor), you might want to have comments in there. In any case, while you can add comments (ironically, Autodesk's paranoid anti-editing warning at the top of the file shows how it's done), as soon as the CUI editor is used, the comments are all stripped out (and the paranoia reintroduced, if you had replaced it with something more useful).
