Thanks for the responses concerning sloped beams ... I will work on that.

My next general question is about grid sharing (along with columns).
How would you do it ??

My application would be to control grids and column locations within my structural set of drawings.

I want to allow our architectural department to use the grids and columns from my work (similar to x-reffing a "grid.dwg" when using AutoCad) and present it in their work while I have control at all times.

Perhaps this info. is explained in the back of the Tutorial "Linking Building Models".

Hi again,
It sounds like the architect is using Revit Building. When they link your structural model to theirs (I am presuming you have 2 models, rather than using worksets) they can use the Copy/Monitor feature to copy girds, levels, and columns to their project. Those 3 categories are then monitored (you will see a blue eyeball).
Then any changes that occur to those categories will be noticed and you will be prompted to accept, decline, or leave the decision until later.
