Structural Footing

I tried using the "footing" family from the Structural Foundation, but it will not show in plan (does show in 3D and section). I tried every visibilty and discipline trick I can think of. I did a search and came up empty on this particular subject.
I'm hoping this is just another "duh" kind of question, and I can shame-facedly get back to work.
Gotta say though, that Revit 8.1 and this forum are the BEST!

Hi,
But is the category "Structural Foundations" turned on? Is the footing within your view range?
Can you post the file for us to look at?
