Our first project with a Revit Structure consultant

We just signed up the engineer for a new project and they'll be using Revit Structure... for the first time. Any advice going in on things we should watch for, best practices, dangers, pitfalls, etc? This is also our first time with Revit structure, should we do anything differently?

One of the key issues is the coordination of the model as you link your model with the structural model. Look over the following tools in Revit

Copy/Monitor
Coordination Review
Interference Check


I think another key issue is to have a pre-design meeting with the Structural Engineer to discuss workflow and how the model will be shared and updated. Autodesk Buzzsaw can help you with version control and notification.
