Swap old custom font file for new font file

Okay, my company uses a altered simplex font as our standard font. We have had nothing but problems with it since I started. Anyhow, now we have changed it and on one CAD station the old font won't go away. I have deleted it from the machine all together and still nothing, I got rid of all of the font search paths, except for the one we need, even went as far as to move the Autocad font folder. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

On the rogue CAD station type the following at the AutoCAD Command Line...


Command: (findfile "OldFontFileNameHere.shx")What is returned ?

Now type the same thing on a good CAD station, what is returned ?

Let me first say thanks, I have been pulling my hair out on this one. Anyhow, I found the font and got it switched. Had no idea of such a command. Thanks again.
