Hi guys take a look at my drawing and how I treated the filled corners of the spaces. However there are other columns on the project wraped with finish and I am wondering what is the best way to tackled such scenario. I tracing over an ACAD dwg - take a look at my attached jpeg.

Thanks

What are you trying to achieve? It's not quite clear from your graphic. Do you want a single column with a finish material? Say steel boxed with a plasterboard fascia? I would do that as a steel column with thin walls to all four sides for the plasterboard or as a column family with a hole in the middle, which I seem to recall being possible.

Yeah it looks to me like you have a column of some sort, steel I'm guessing, with a furred-out finish wrapping around it. Just make it in Revit how you would make it in real life, i.e. structural column component, and then a furring wall type to wrap around it (thin metal stud layer for studs or furring channels, and a gyp. board finish layer on only one side).
