wide polylines?

Is it true that wide AUtoCAD polylines lose their width when imported into Revit?:???:

I was hoping someone could give me a workaround solution. The only thing I can really think of is to put the wide polylines on a separate layer and give them a thick pen width in Revit. Agreed?

yep that is the only way right now. we changed out inport settings to match our acad plotting method. 1 thru 9 1 being the lightest and 9 being the darkest all the way through all the layer colors. then when I import the cad I atleast get some line weights to deal with.

we also have a acad standard layering system so the layers could be changed easily also. sorry I was not any help
