Has anyone noticed that many of the "links" in the help file don't work at all or take you to the wrong help page?

I have noticed the same thing. I have also found that the correct link is usually a page before or after where I've landed. Perhaps I should write the Revit team about this. That seems like a very quick and easy (and necessary) fix.

Penthesilea, who posts here on rare occasions, is, I believe, the technical writer responsible in part or whole for the Revit help files.

Suggest you contact her, she is more formally known as Brittany Fortin but I don't have an email address for her.

If possible, could you provide examples of the specific links that don't work?

In addition, what version & build are you using?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

6.1 Build 20040306_0300.
Here are a few I have come across:
Workset>Backups doesn't work.
View Templates does't work.
Schedules- most of the links seem to be one or two off in the listing.
Families- some of the links are off within in this topic.

These linking problems were fixed in a later 6.1 build. You can install a more recent build or use the following steps to download and install a new Help file.

Delete the RevitENU.chm file in \Program Files\ Revit 6.1\Program (assuming this is your install path).

In Autodesk Revit 6.1, on the Help menu, click Documents on the Web.

Under Autodesk Revit 6.1 Documentation, double-click 6.1 Revit Help File – Compiled Help File, and specify \Program Files\ Revit 6.1\Program as the location for the RevitENU.chm.
