Hi,
I have exported the building model from 3d as dwg,
When i open iit in Autocadd the entire model has been turned into faces, is there any option of solid model export in Revit.

Basic answer is no.

Although I would really love it to be able to do this. From what i have been told its probably not ever going to be able to do this either.

I believe I saw a recent post describing a lisp routine which converts faces/meshes to solids? anyone else recall that?

cheers....

when you export there is a box that says options, in that box you can chose solids

Revit will not output a true solid. Only solid mesh objects. To get a solid model you need to output it in VRML format from AutoCAD. You can do this by getting a VRML pluggin for AutoCAD. Then most RP systems should read it.
