Of course the moment there's a dead line everything quits working.
My RPC people have a grey square box around them now...!!! I just changed the sky, went to render and now it's all messed up...
I tried deleting the people, purging and re-loading. same problem.
Anybody seen this before?

CLOSE THE 3DVIEW, CREATE IT AGAIN AND THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED, READY TO RENDER, THIS WAS POSTED BEFORE.

Be nice Rob, you're shouting.
Paul, apparently this is/was a bug.
Actually it is a bug in the Accurender Toolkit which is already fixed.
This happens when there is a change in the environment settings and ray traced image exist for this scene.
One possible way to fix this is to close the view and then open it again.
I'm pretty sure that the bug is still present; at least if you working on a model that was created in a previous version of Revit. I am constantly having to close the window and reopen it as I tweak the settings of my Rendering. In some cases this isn't even enough; I have to completely close the Revit project and reopen it.
Bugger!!!!

Yeah, Nvidia issues. the "white screen of what is going on?" pops up consistently, but not regularly. I usually have to wait a minute, hit F5,etc.
If that doesn't work, it appears that all commands are active, but the mouse driver is gone. I've had to close all windows using the keyboard commands in windows, exit revit and reboot. Haven't lost anything since I've used the keyboard to shutdown, but probably had to do that a total of once a calendar quarter.....

Try this:
Set up a new view, and set up all sun angles and accurender settings for a new scene. Raytrace. Should be OK. IF not, increase reflection and transparency bounces.
MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT EDIT SUN ANGLES AGAIN for that view/scene.

Is this being fixed? I am now running into it on the latest build of 6.1
