Hi all,

Our standard boxes are dell precisions with 2 Xeons and 2 GBs of RAM. It seems that running AutoCAD 2002 and Revit 8.1 concurrently is causing some major performance problems. Standard AutoCAD operations are taking minutes to complete.

Is this a known issue? I looked back in the forums and was not able to find anything about it.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

when I jumped ship from ADT3.3 (& Acad 2002) to join Revit I've had v2002 on my system ever since... as yet I've never experienced any problems with having Revit & Acad running concurrently...mind you that is a very infrequent occurance.

Sorry I couldn't of more help...

Im on a Xeon Box with 3 GB ofRAM, and its certainly not been a problem with 8.1 and ADT 3.3 (2002). Actually (lol) , not only that, but ive got two instances of Revit opened, and ADT, and its fine...

Id go in to your task manager and see whats using up the memory...
