In elevation view, I created few dimensions from levels to other levels and a full height dimension and locked them, hours later I realized one level was wrong so I decided to change the elevation, and obviously all other levels moved along, so I went into all my sections and elevations and deleted all the dimensions from levels to other levels, none is left, but still when I change the elevation value all other level keep moving along, any ideas?

Rob,
Move the level with the move command, and when you do, check Disjoin in the options bar. I think that should do it.

When you delete a locked dimension you should get a warning asking if you want to keep the item constrained. Even if you delete the itme will remain constrained.
You should be able to select the offending dimension and 'unlock' the icon that appears. Remember, you might not be able to see the icon unless you are zoomed out a bit.

Everything that was created in that level gets deleted when I do it this way.

Saw the locks, delete them, got the message, said OK to remove constrains but still all moving along.
It was a level below the first floor, only the garage walls were here, I have no clue what it can be, so I'm just deleting it and creating my garage again, no big deal, I just hope it doesn't happen again when I have a more detailed plan in that level, thanks anyway.

My fault, at the message :
"A Dimension with Lock and/or EQ Contraints is being deleted, but the elements will still be constrained. Push "Unconstrain" to remove the Constraints or "OK" to leave elements constrained."
I pressed the OK button instead of the Unconstrain button, I never read the message before until now, I assumed that pressing OK would unconstrain the dimension, I was wrong.
Is there a way to unconstrain elements once the constraining dimension is deleted and there is no way to bring that dimension back?

Move the constrained object, and youy will get a warning dialog that should allow you to unconstrain.

I had the same problem last week and found the solution on this Forum under the topic : http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?363-Cant-find-dimension-to-unlock-it-what-do-I-do&p=1211011#post1211011
czoog had the solution:
Have you tried locking down the level you don't want to move and then try moving the top one, you should recieve an error box about contraints not be satisfied, then keep pushing the show button until the dimension comes up.
Even 9,5 years after the post it helped me to find the elevation view where I've locked my levels.
