Is it my system (it seems to be acting funny for a couple of days)
or has something happened here to images on this forum ?

Some posts now show large images which take a time to load down & Then some others no image

Have I missed out on something or just messed something up?

Nothing has changed except the "cleverness" of some users.

To have an image appear inline (visible) the image must be in a location "visible" to the internet, essentially a link to the image stored "somewhere".

Inline images are supposed to be possible in this forum without effort but for some reason Z has not had success with this feature.

What you can do is upload your image to Zoogdesign and you'll just see the download image available, like normal.

However, if you then view your post, and right click on the download button for your image attachment and choose "copy shortcut", then edit your post and use the syntax paste-in-the-image-address-here You will have "short circuited" the disfunction of this forum and provided a link "internally" to display your image.

Some folks have figured this out, others aren't interested or concerned enough to bother. Either way the image is available for viewing. (Either you have already figured this out or a moderator did it for you on your "Tribute to Lichtenstein" image?)

The image posting was not done intentionally on my part it just sort of happened. For most of the time I actually prefer to select downloading if I want to see the image.
My confusion arises from other peoples images suddenly appearing as well Some do some don't.
