Here are some renderings from a project that is in cd's now. Basically all the buildings are made up of three Revit project files. A through-unit, back to back unit, and corner unit. Each of these units have design options in them to handle end unit conditions. 85% of documentation is handled in the unit files themselves. Unit files are then linked together to make up building project files (i.e., complex "A", "B", etc) Overall 1/8th scale foundation plans, minimally detailed floor plans, and elevations are in the building files.
So far it is working out well, one glitch is that I had to reassemble the buildings in the site file as revit does not allow for nested rvt links, nor do I have control of design options in linked files, so that adds an extra step (two for the wishlist).
We are working on a few animations for a marketing video, I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.
