A lintel in section nested within window family

how to place a lintel nested within window family , that i want to see it in section but no lines in elevation.

i placed a opening in wall above the window and then filled it with an extruded solid.but i don't want to see it in elevation i.e. want make it hidden within wall.

any suggestion will be appreciated.

open the window family, drawing in a lintel above the window.
Select the solid lintel, then select visibility to only show whn cut, and in section
Also make sure that it is placed within the boundaries of your wall faces.
If you want it to be an even cooler family, create a Yes/No display parameter of the lintel:beer:
