Currency in fields in tables

I've created a table which has several fields linked to other information in the file. They are: room title, layer name and area. In another column, I've typed in different dollar values for dollars per square foot. In another column of cells, I've created a formula that multiplies each room's area, by the dollar amount per square foot for that room to give me the final pricing value for the floor material of that room. Finally, I'm adding up those final pricing values to find the total cost of all rooms. The formula is set up correctly, but it is coming up with a number that is totally off. Any ideas?

There is a scale factor of .006944444 on the object field for the room area in the table. The sum of the totals is not applying that scale factor to it's calculations. If you change the total sum field scale factor to match the one used in the acquiring the room area it works out fine. It may be caused from what scale you drew the drawing in.
