Is there anyway to convert 3-D polylines to 2-D polylines? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Tips & Tricks (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=180) forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

try this:
Explode, flatten, pljoin
Explode the 3d poly line, start the flatten command, select "P" for previous, continue through the command using defaults, then when it is completed run PLJOIN and select "p" for previous, then continue through the command prompts using the defaults, when you are finished, you will have a regular polyline.
***note: you must have express tools installed to used flatten and pljoin
