Design Option Question Help

We are trying to create two D.O.'s from an ex. plan. (see images).
Option 1 removes existing walls and creates new ones.
Option 2 puts back the walls removed and creates new ones on another wall.

You need to add all the pieces(any that are at all affected by the option) to all the options.
I'm not sure how phasing is handled within options. My guess is it works the same as out of the options, so once you add your existing geometry to all the options, set up your various views and phase filters, then as you work on each option the phases "should" behave as if the options didn't exist.
